Christian Service and Responsibilty (CSR)

As the parish Outreach committee, Christian Service and Responsibility is dedicated to extending Christ’s message of love and compassion beyond the church doors into the broader community. Since 2006, CSR has overseen the distribution of nearly $20,000 annually from parish funds and parishioner donations, primarily supporting Door County agencies and charities, as well as select national and international initiatives.

In addition, CSR works to motivate, engage, and facilitate parishioners in works of charity and social justice beyond our church doors by providing meaningful opportunities to contribute to those in need. These efforts include organizing material collections for programs such as Box of Joy, Toys for Kids, The Boys and Girls Club as well as coordinating volunteer involvement in Habitat for Humanity, Loaves and Fishes and other community projects. Some of our past efforts have included collecting coats for an Indian reservation, care packages and letters for area soldiers and local and Chicago area mission trips.

We welcome new members and new ideas and meaningful ways to make a difference in our community and elsewhere. We meet every other month on the third Tuesday at 2PM in Sister Bay (January, March, May, July, September, November).
