Finance Council

The Finance Council advises the pastor in financial matters relative to the parish. The Council is governed by policies and procedures of the Church as well as civil law. Basic responsibilities of the Finance Council include overseeing the accounting system for the parish, keeping financial records, planning, preparation and reporting on the parish budget, financial reporting, internal controls, management of funds collected, monitoring investments and property management.
The Finance Council oversees the maintenance and improvements of the parish’s facilities through a Buildings and Grounds Committee; the operation of the parishes Cemetery’s through a separate governing board and the functions of the parish’s Stewardship Committee. Each of these groups work closely with and have representation on the parish Finance Council. To email council chair
