The love of knitting/crocheting and a desire to help others have combined to form a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice that reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace as well as in celebration and joy. A  blessing is offered before the shawl is sent on its way. We have donated many shawls and lapgahns to individuals in need of comfort. The group meets the first Monday of the month at 1 p.m. at the Sister Bay site to crochet, knit, sew or quilt. Others make items at home.
