ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP - PHYSICALLY? - The Door County Emergency Support Coalition has been formed to provide a resource and assistance to residents and guests through the hardships surrounding the COVID 10 outbreak. The coalition is not meant to be a substitute for emergency (911) services. Possible assistance includes delivering and shopping for food, medications and essential supplies to those at high risk or quarantined, helping to perform welfare checks for family or neighbors, answering phones and connecting people with child-care support. The coalition is seeking a large team of volunteers to support this effort. Volunteers will not be exposed to high-risk or quarantined individuals while performing their duties.  To volunteer, call (920)868-0289 or Click Here and see the section titled VOLUNTEER.  With questions call Jan Liss at (920)839-2630.

ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP - MONETARILY? - Fund  In an effort to provide a coordinated philanthropic response to the current COVID-19 health crisis, the Door County Community Foundation and the United Way of Door County have activated the Door County Emergency Response Fund. The fund provides flexible resources to local charities that are serving Door County residents impacted by COVID-19 and the economic consequences of this pandemic. The Emergency Response Fund was designed with flexibility in mind to ensure that resources may be shifted as conditions, circumstances, and needs change throughout this crisis. Please consider making an online donation to help the people of Door County by Clicking Here.  If you prefer, donations can also be sent directly to the Stella Maris Parish office (PO Box 49, Egg Harbor, Wisconsin 54209-0049) and directed to either CSR (Christian Service and Responsibility Committee) or St Vincent DePaul as these funds will also be used to help those impacted by this pandemic.
